I enjoyed the first 2 Gauntlet games and was looking forward to this 3D
version of the game. I have to say that I'm dissapointed. The game does look
nice, but moves sluggishly. The main reason for my dissappointment is that I
completed the whole game on my FIRST TRY within 40 minutes. I am not an
amateur game player nor am I a game playing guru but completing the whole
game the first time I ever played it. PLEASE!
The game is basically gauntlet but in 3D. You have your selection of
different warriors, each one varies little from one another. You shoot your
way through the levels collecting certain items that will allow you to access
different sections and levels. The levels vary nicely from one level to
another and thats about the only positive thing that I can say about the game.
In Conclusion, it's obvious that I'm not impressed by this game. It moves
sluggishly and it way too easy to complete the game. I enjoyed Gauntlet 2 more
than this. It was a nice idea to try to make this game 3D, but it doesn't
work. If you like Gauntlet type games get Gauntlet 2 or the much better
Skeleton Krew instead.
